Humble Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of HRETC. Over 100 wonderful individuals of all ages from our local community volunteer each year. Volunteers are needed June through August to support the Equine Therapy Programs. No horse experience is necessary.

Training is scheduled for the third Sunday in May and the first Tuesday in June. Call the Ranch for exact dates at 970-879-3443. As required by PATH, new Volunteers are required to spend 5-6 hours in the initial training and returning volunteers must spend 3 hours in a refresher course.

Opportunities include:

Hippotherapy Programs: 2.5-3 hours one day a week (Mon-Thurs) 8-Noon

Therapeutic Riding: 2-3 hours 1x per week

Horizons: 3 hours 2x week

Mini Camps: 1 week commitment 8-12noon

Fundraiser: August 19, 2012
